The firm was established in 1980. Founder and Principal Reid H. Shockey is a native and life-long resident of the Puget Sound region. Mr. Shockey is the former Community Development Director for the City of Everett and, before entering the private sector, spent over eleven years in government.

Laura S. Brent, is also a long-time resident of the Puget Sound region. Having been with the firm since its inception, Ms. Brent brings a balance of both public and private sector experience as well as an entrepreneurial spirit to the firm.
